Getting started with the blog, or a sewing shop for that matter, seems to be harder than I ever anticipated. We have too many "events" in our life (my family and I) that has kept us so busy that I haven't stepped inside my sewing space for a week. Last Monday I was sewing away and finally accomplishing a lot and I got the dreaded phone call. My husband had fallen off a ladder and needed to get to the emergency room right away. He is doing well now, but breaking both wrists and hands, spraining an ankle, getting a concussion and gashing his head open have all limited his ability to do for himself. He is very dependent on me right now though he tries very hard not to be - Imagine a 3-year-old boy and add at least 200 pounds. Get the picture?
I will try to post a picture of the pillow I finished on Monday when I can get to it. Right now, it is back to the office to bring hubby home.
